Batch 89 proudly donates brand new Projector to ULHS staff
Dear Batchmates,
Our school principal has asked if we would be pursuing our LCD projector donation. They would need one in time for a PAASCU visit this Feb. 1 and 2.
Our previous discussion on this is that we will try to purchase the LCD in the US since it is cheaper. However, they need the projector sooner than we thought.
Tonight I went back to the stores that I have visited few months ago and still the prices are the same.
BenQ MP522 model XGA(DLP) - Php 31,888
Specs : 2000 ansilumens (this has something to do with the brightness)
Lamp life - 4000 hours (low mode), 3500 (standard use)
One year warranty, 3 months warranty on lamp, with service center in Manila, lamp replacement cost about 12000
Freebie to be given is a Tripod projector screen.
Acer 1166P VGA (DLP) - Php 27,800
Specs : 2500 ANSI lumens (this has something to do with the brightness)

Based on my conversation with the sales clerk, they recommend the BenQ because the image is better because it is XGA, Ace is VGA. Mas bagong technology daw yung XGA... Whatever...medyo nalunod na ako sa technical terms na ginamit nya...:)Or baka kasi mas mahal hehehe...
Eniweys, would just like to get everyone's approval that we will purchase here na lang sa Pinas since our donation is needed now...mas maa-appreciate nila dahil magagamit na nila ito agad.
Lastly, kung may batchmates tayo na pauwi sa Santiago, pa-inform naman para maipadala ko sa inyo yung projector. Pauwi si Eric this weekend pero wala daw sya car, si Ramil naman, nakauwi na yata ngayong araw na ito...
